Teague Harvey

Teague Harvey is a sophomore at UW-Madison studying History and Vocal Performance and the second of the two co-vice chairs of AIS. Since joining the group in 2007, she has enjoyed planning and participating in numerous events with AIS. She hopes to venture over to Africa before she graduates in 2011.

Rebecca Gilsdorf

Rebecca Gilsdorf is a senior studying Civil and Environmental Engineering and working on Certificates in International Engineering & African Studies. She has been involved in Action in Sudan since her freshman year, and is currently one of two co-chairs of the organization. She spent last summer in Morocco teaching English and practicing Arabic. Last spring she was in Uganda and Sudan interning.

Jake Naughton

Jake is a Junior at UW Madison and serves as the second co-chair. He got involved with AIS when he emailed Caroline about a photographer he thought would be interesting to get to come to Madison. Suddenly he had no more free Thursday nights and his inbox was flooded with emails. Jake will be spending spring semester in Kenya and is hoping to head to either Sudan next summer.

Hannah Cutts

Hannah is a senior majoring in political science with a certificate in African studies. She loves being part of Action in Sudan because it allows her to work with amazing people, plan projects that have an impact, and really - its the least she can do! Hannah also enjoys spending time at the Farmer's Market and defending her right to have too much hair.

Julie Strupp

Julie Strupp is a sophomore at the UW and one of two current co-vice chairs of AIS. She’s double majoring in Journalism and International Studies. She's currently studying abroad for the year in Senegal. She has a passion for human rights and international affairs-and art, especially photography. She’s planning on joining the Peace Corps for a few years after she graduates to get some experience in Africa and to learn a few more languages.
